High place of American scientific research, the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) has again just to develop a system that is likely to change our habits of use of HP HSTNN-LB42 battery. Indeed could recharge in just a few seconds. Explanations.

Professor Gerbrand Ceder and Byoungwoo Kang a student have indeed developed a system that optimizes the iron phosphate-based lithium-ion batteries. These are indeed deemed have good storage capacity, but have difficulty in issuing the energy of fast. They are particularly used in electric cars for their low power to heater. Smaller devices to use batteries based on cobalt or manganese lithium-ion, more easily miniaturisables.

But the problem with the lithium-ion iron phosphate-based and slow the movement of ions between the two electrodes. The two scientists therefore proceeded to the acceleration of speed by adding a conductive layer of 5 nanometers in thickness to the surface of the material. It plays somewhat the role track express for the ions, thus entering more easily in the electrodes.

Result of the experiments, designed by the team battery recharges in 10-20 seconds against 6 minutes for the "classic". According to scientists, the report may rise from 1 to 100 on the market lithium-ion HP HSTNN-LB72 battery. A few "details" remain however to settle, the system demand over supply power, but also hardly manages the discharge which is also faster. But these problems could be resolved within two to three years. The system is in any case already patented by two companies that are at the moment still anonymous.

I wanted to know if it was possible to buy a battery for notebook NEC in France: PC-LS150ES6R purchased in the Japan. This model does not exist in Europe (this is understandable) but I think that it should be possible to find a compatible battery here.I tried to look on the NEC site I am struggling to find something that can help me a little.I'm not 100% sure but I think that these two models of HP HSTNN-OB42 battery are used for this PC: PC-VP-WP110 and PC-VP-WP109 but I do not store distributing in Europe.

This is not possible. All laptops sold in Japan have batteries with a slightly modified form. This means that if you want a new HP HSTNN-OB75 battery, will take command in NEC Japan. I found this with a friend who had a portable Sony, and he had told me that all other portable followed the same logic. This is to avoid that laptops for the Japanese market only (because often equipped with features that are not on the international models) is sold elsewhere. This is also such a with printer ink cartridges it seems to me.In fact the problem is that the Japanese position is not to send the PC to the France (it is not for me) because of the risk of battery explosion. This is why I wanted to see if it was possible to buy battery here to use the PC sent without...It will have to find another solution then... Thank you again.
